On Friday (hopefully) the reception children will be joining the nursery class to have a ‘big build’. If it’s not too late can you have a look around home for some boxes. We don’t need very large boxes – we are looking for the smaller type like cereal, toothpaste, oxo, rice, cracker, sweet tubes etc. We are hoping to learn and explore more about 3D shapes and improve on team work with our peers. Please watch this space for our pictures!

Thank you everyone for the lovely cards and presents. We were all really spoilt and were over whelmed with your kindness. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a very happy new year! Leave us a comment and let us know what you’re doing over the holidays, or maybe if Santa’s has been?
Lots of love, health and happiness! Miss Newham, Mrs Hogan, Mrs Hall and Mrs Derby x x x x
Wow you all looked wonderful today. Thank you for all the party contributions… if you would like to collect any plates or containers tomorrow. Also a big thank you to Mrs Moffat, a school governor that brought along some chocolate fingers, which were very much appreciated. The children were a credit to you, very well behaved and polite – well done boys and girls. We had lots of fun playing party games and dancing – which game did you enjoy the best? There’s still lots more of fun things to come… tomorrow we’re decorating the biscuits we made on Monday, and it’s Christmas Dinner Day – we’ll have to wear our new party hats.
A very difficult decision to make this week, as everyone was a star in the play. However we chose a great girl who truly deserves it. Well done Lillie – you were great in the play, you always do your reading and you are a super friend to lots of the children in the class.
